Born in 1965, Kerala, India. Graduated from The College of Fine Arts, Trivandrum in 1988. Participating in State and National level juried exhibitions since 1987. Participant (4 times) in National Exhibition of Art conducted by National Lalit kala Academy.
Received National Award for painting in 1992 from KKL Academy. British Overseas League award for Painting in 1997. Recipient of State award for painting in KLK Academy annual 2002. Awarded the prestigious Jackson Pollock-Krasner fellowship for painting from New York in 2003. Participated in the Florence biennale 2005. Painting auctioned by Christies in London 2004. Junior and Senior research fellowships from IHRD, Govt. of India. Bid and Hammer auction 2008; Residency at Germany in 2006.
Conducted several solo shows in India and abroad apart from regular participations in group shows world wide.
