Shambhavi Singh, a post-graduate in Painting, hails from Punjab, India.She entered in Research soon after her masters on a Research Grant Scholarship, Lalit Kala Academi, New Delhi. From 1983 onwards, she has been exhibiting in groups shows throughout Indian cities in leading galleries that includes : Vadehra art gallery, Gallery Espace, Jahangir art gallery, ISIS Gallery, Rabindra Bhavan, National Gallery of Modern Art etc. Shanbhavi’s solo exhibitions include : Talwar Gallery, New York, Singapore, New Delhi; Vadehra Art Gallery, New Delhi ; FIA Amsterdam ; Gallery Chemould, Mumbai ; Shridharani Gallary, New Delhi etc.Residencies and Workshops in which she was part of : Singapore Tyler Print Institute (2010);Greatmore Studios, Cape town;KHOJ International Workshop, Mysore and Bangalore; Tropen Museum, Amsterdam (1997 ). Shambhavi, a well known contemporary artist, works in different mediums from painting to installations is presently based in Delhi.
